We are a leading and reputable nongovernmental organization providing technical assistance in support of implementation of comprehensive family-focused HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment in partnership with the NGOs and different tiers of the Government of Nigeria- national, state, local and site levels. In line with the broadened scope and objectives of our work, the need for increased staff capacity around new and enlarged areas of focus have emerged. We therefore require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals for the following positions:

Position: HR and Admin Coordinator (Abuja)

Responsibilities

  • The HR & Admin Coordinator will be  responsible  for implementing  HR rules and regulations, staffing  assessment , recruitment, orientation for new staff, training, staff welfare, salary and benefits administration.
  • Provide HR support services to the line Manager
  • Oversee maintenance and  timely updates of HR records on staff, and  staff related matters
  • Review cases of indiscipline  and  recommend appropriate disciplinary measures to the Head, HR Admin & Finance
  • Administer staff performance management system and implement decisions on various human resources issues.
  • Advise staff on statutory requirements such as Pension scheme.
  • Supervise and monitor staff health insurance providers to ensure qualitative services to staff.
  • Initiate processes for paying staff benefits and liaise with other organizational units to ensure timely processing of staff benefits including terminal benefits, payments to service providers etc.
  • Advice on group insurance policy and submit claims for group Insurance compensation. Provide effective management of other personnel actions and transactions such as staff leave, compensation, payroll inputs and time and attendance.
  • Supervise the HR £ Admin Associate.
  • Advise management on staff welfare.
  • Maintain personnel records.
  • Handles insurance matters on personnel and programs assets.
  • Supervise the drivers and maintains vehicles.
  • Manage the office equipment and consumables.

Qualification:

  • Degree in Business Admin or Social Science Humanities.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in HR
  • Strong supervisory experience * Proven strong HR experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills in MS word & Excel.
  • Knowledge of CDC, USG/other donor rules, regulations and procedures.
  • Strong attention to details.

Position: Sub-Contract Accountant ( Abuja)

Responsibilities

  • The   Sub-Contract   Accountant   coordinates   the and conduct of pre-award assessment of potential sub at the central office level in collaboration with the Head  Finance, HR & Admin
  • H/she will provide support training of sub recipients on all applicable USG laws and regulations, funding agencies rules and regulations, terms and conditions of the subcontract;
  • Ensure consistent application of organizational financial and administrative policies/standards, as well as USG rules and regulations; .develop systems and tools for sub recipients financial management;
  • Review all sub recipients reports and advance requests,
  • Facilitate sub recipients payments, and monitor their advances from source;
  • The position will conduct financial monitoring including site visits and review of financial reports and their supporting documents;
  • Review audit reports filed by sub recipients and corrective action taken by sub recipients in response to audit findings.

 

Qualification:

  • Applicant should have  Bachelor’s   degree   in    Business   Administration, Accounting,  Finance or in related field with processional accounting qualification such as ACA, ICMA.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant work experience, or a Master’s degree with at least three years of relevant work experience.
  • General ledger experience required
  • Experience with  USG financial rules and regulations desirable.
  • Knowledge of USG/other   donor   rules,    regulations,    and   procedures   concerning subcontracts. Strong attention to details .
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong computer spreadsheet and word processing skills.

 

Position: Finance Coordinator (Abuja)

  • Establishing and managing financial systems .
  • Implementing accounting and financial policies to ensure financial integrity of the program
  • Cash flow forecasting and management
  • Preparing accurate & timely monthly reports and financial statements.
  • Maintaining communication with central office, program staff and partners regarding expenditure and budgets.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent (Administration, Finance and Accounting), professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ICMA and minimum of 5 years relevant experience in similar capacity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision •computer literacy and familiarity with Ms Office. General ledger experience required
  • Experience with USG financial rules and regulations desirable.
  • Knowledge of USG/other donor rues regulations, and procedures concerning subcontracts
  • Strong attention to   details
  • Strong   organizational   and   prioritization   skills
  • Strong computer spreadsheet and word processing skills.

General Requirements:

All positions require candidates that are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Computer applications and Internet navigation/ Emails.

Significant amounts of travel are required for all positions.
